i am using p89c51rd2 ic for serial connection with PC. i am also using flash magic. however i am not able to connect to the pc. flash magic is giving me a message to turn my chip into isp mode. can anyone tell me how to put the chip into isp mode.. i am a newbie in this field and would appreciate any suggestions.............The actual message from flash magic is"Unable to connect at the specific baud rate. try to reduce the baud rate. reset the hardware into isp mode."
On that device you need to use the /PSEN pin to place the device into ISP mode during a reset. The details are described in the flash memory section of the user manual for the device.
