Title: 89LPC932 Revision
Post by: Khaled Zoheir on April 14, 2004, 06:18:16 AM
I have some problems programming the 89LPC932. I understand that programming depends on the revision (B, C, ...).

The following 3 lines appears on the controller:
 P89LPC932BA
C0921
TE03296

So, according to what I've read on this site, the revision is (6). It's not a letter (B, C, etc.).

Not sure what is the revision that I'am having and the way to program it.

Thank you.

Hi,

The revision number is on the third line behind the packaging site and date code, for example: "Tt0307 C".
"03""07" Means the device has been packaged in 2003 week 7, the "C" means the chip is revision C.
Unfortionatly the chips can't be ordered by revision. This is why an updated chip will be available soon the P89LPC932A1, this chip will have the ICP programming capability the updated security in IAP and byte erase functionality of the Flash memory.

Regards,

Bauke
