We are using different parallel programmers for P89V51RD2 micro but at some programmers we are using block erase and chip erase function and at some programmers we could not found block and chip erase functions.
So at these type programmers programming and verify function is OK but device is not runs on circuit.
I am searching a clear way which the micro can be programmed at any parallel programmer.

May be a different startup algorithm can solve this problem.

If you have any idea please write me.

Best regards

This forum is for discussion of in-system programming. For questions regarding parallel programming you might want to consider asking the manufacturer of your parallel programmer. If it supports your device then it should provide access to all programming features.

Yes , some programmers have different proceedures in handling flash blocks 0 and 1.  So Andy is correct - take it up with the programmer manufacturers.

Perhaps you may consider programming the P89v51 via it's UART and Using Flash Magic.... then this forum can help.
