Hello All,

I am Amit.

Trying to burn the hex file into LPC2148 by using flash magic 5.70.2079

But I am getting error, "Operation Failed. Failed to autobaud - step 1."

I have tried a lot by changing setting in flash magic's options -> advance option->

Right now I kept like this only.... tick to "assert DTR and RTS while COM port open"

but not getting any clue that why my hex file is not getting burned.

Also one thing I found just now is this.......  when I click ISP -> blank check OR ISP -> read security OR ISP -> read device sign OR ISP -> display memory ... I immediately get that error message popup "Operation Failed. Failed to autobaud - step 1."

Plz guide me.

thanx in advance.

You are using a version that is five years old...

Most likely cause is that the part is not in ISP mode. Full details on how to do that are in the NXP user manual for the part. Check with a scope. There are lots more suggestions on what to check at the URL given in the error message - http://www.flashmagictool.com/autobaud.html
