Title: FM.exe doesn't support 89C669
Post by: Dirk Caesar on August 07, 2003, 01:49:31 AM
Hello,

at first many thanks for providing Flash Magic. It's a great software!

I only have a problem with FM.exe.  The windows version FlashMagic.exe supports the P89C669 device (it's in the list). When I use the command line version FM.exe I can't select this device (not listed in the manual).
Selecting e.g. 89C668 in command DEVICE makes the programmation fail.

I'm using FlashMagic V1.77 and Dll V1.51

Can anybody help me?

Thanks a lot!
Dirk

The 669 will be supported on the command line in the next release of Flash Magic.

Version 1.79 is now available with 669 support on the command line. Let me know if you spot any problems.

Hello Andy,

unfortunately I'm now facing a problem with FlashMagic in the windows as well as in the command line version (V1.79/Dll V1.52) in combination with the P89C669:

As soon as the code in the hex file to be programmed exceeds 2k bytes I get the message "Error programming the hex file. Address: 0x000803."

Thanks for your help!
Dirk
