Post by: Rick Derman on April 14, 2003, 08:29:53 AM
I am interested in an example of a simple Flash Magic JIT Code file for serial number and calibration data entry.

It has been the intention to supply some examples either with Flash Magic or downloadable from the web page, but we haven't had time to create any yet. Hopefully we can add this in the coming months.

Note that we can write a JIT module to your exact requirements/specifications. Send me an Email (address below) with the details and I'll generate a quote.

Has there been any progress on producing a JIT module example?  Is it still the intention to do so?

Yes this is exactly what I have been working on recently.

In the next release there will be two examples. The first will be a simple plain C example that generates a 4 byte serial number. The second will be a C++ example with a dialog window to enter the serial number, location and byte ordering.

Hopefully I will have the next release out in the next day or two. There will be an entry placed on the Start menu to the JIT examples folder.
