Title: Flash memory is not retaining the program

Hi!
Please help me in programming 89v51RD2 using ISP.

I am able to communicate with the 89v51RD2 using ISP and can download the program in the controller, but program works only after sending reset from ISP. Also the flash memory is not retaining the program after power switching.
Can anybody suggest any remedy.

You have to reset the device to get it to execute the code you have programmed. If resetting the device works but power cycling causing the program to not execute then that is very odd. Not sure what the cause would be. Does your program check for different reset types and do different things?

what would happen if FM is still connected?

Id' guess this is the classical problem of RC reset...
