Title: LPC2368 programming requires different baud rates for same pcb.
Post by: rway on July 03, 2008, 02:19:07 PM
We are currently using the LPC2368 in production and are programming the processors at 115.2Kbaud.  However, there are some boards that won't work at this speed and I've had to decrease the baud rate down to 28.8K to get it to work.  It seems this is the max buad rate I can achieve for these troublesome boards (about 20% of the lot).  Has anyone seen this type of problem before?  I have reviewed most of the posts and have come across plenty of talk concerning comm speed but not this particular problem with same board, same processor but different baud rates.  Any assistance you can give would be much appreciated.

Can you reproduce the problem using Hyperterminal? I.e. a failure to respond to the autobaud character?

I have not tried hyperterminal at 115.2K yet.
