Copy the circuit uses for the MCB900. There is a link to the schematic diagram on the Flash Magic web page.

Hello,

I am having two question regarding the circuitry.

1.Shall i use MAX 563 instead of MAX 3221[Difficult to purchase this chip] in ISP circuitry.

2.From Laptop serial port to the ISP hardware serial port shall i use 1: 1 connection Serial comport cable or any twisted cable if any give details

As long as the device is an RS-232 transceiver then it will work.

All you need is a standard serial cable - i.e. the kind you get with consumer electronics. Very cheap to purchase. Or you can make your own with a shield to reduce EMI.

As long as the device is an RS-232 transceiver then it will work.

AND A 3.3V chip (which the max563 is) but someone might read the above wrong.

Someone in Asia sell "devboards" (a bootleg copy of the manufacturers devboard) for a non-Philips 3V3 chip using a 5V transciever and there are forum posts "I use this devboard and I have this problem"
