Title: IAP commands P89V51RD2
Post by: Rudi on June 18, 2007, 06:05:53 PM
Hello,

I have got a question, is there any command in IAP mode available for eraseing single Data Bytes or sectors? In the Data sheet is just one command for eraseing the whole Block 0. Had there been any updates?

Does anyone has an updated Firmware, that is able to erase single Databytes or sectors?

Thanks in advance.

Well, you have an amazingly old datasheet... Any newer DS than version 1 specifies the IAP command for sector erasing - and you don't need to update the bootloader for this purpose.

You are right, I don't know why, but I still looked up in the oldest Version of my Datasheet...

Thank You
