Title: No ICP-Reprogramming LPC932A1
Post by: Jan on January 12, 2005, 01:01:23 AM
I programmed a 89LPC932A1 processor with a modified Keil MCB900 eval board over ICP. After that I wanted erase all flash blocks, with the effect that only block 0 was erased. I experienced that with a blank check.
The result is: Only block 0 can be reprogrammed, all other blocks are not reprogrammable, that means, no further software-updates for these processor blocks are possible (big problem).

Did someone heard about such a problem, or can tell me, if this is a Flash Magic, ISP-ICP Bridge (I used prog90x.hex) or Philips problem?

Hello!

Just to eradicate misunderstandings: did you set any security bit?

If so, you perhaps might have "blocked" the LPC and the flash can't be erased in ISP mode, but only in parallel mode.

If not, have you tried erasing single flash blocks? Or pages?
No success?

What does FM show in the status line when you hit Start? Does it show "Erasing flash blocks 0-6"?
