Can you advise how the DTR RTS and other PC signals operate to create the 3 pulses reset for ISP mode.
I wish to build my board and use the same signals out of the serial port.
An explaination on the Hardware config used in the 3 pulses reset method would be appreciated.

You need to copy the circuit from the Keil MCB900 board. There is a link to the help file containing the schematic diagram on the Flash Magic web page.
