Title: LPC921 does not reset
Post by: John D. Maniraj on July 28, 2005, 12:55:32 AM
Hello,
I wired up a MAX232 circuit to an LPC921FDH, and using FlashMagic I download code into the micro, and the part executes the downloaded code, I know FlashMagic clears the Status bit, so subsequent programming through the serial port is not possible.
I built a 3 pulse hardware circuit and while I was trying this out I found
whenI hold the \RST pin of the LPC921 low by holding the pin to ground, the part does not remain in reset condition but begins to execute the programed code.

According to Philips the part will always go to reset mode when it is powered up, but in this case it is not doing so.

Could someone help me to resolve this?

Regards,
John.
