Title: LPC935 block 2 security bit 0
Post by: Dave on April 26, 2006, 12:14:55 PM
I am attempting to program the security bit 0 for sectors 0, 1, 2, and 3 of an LPC935 using FlashMagic version 2.51.  After it programs my hex file and the security bits, I query the security bits and see that block 2 bit 0 is unset while blocks 0, 1, and 3 are correct.  I have found this to be true from both the Windows GUI and from the command line.  Do you know if there is a problem with the programming of this bit or with the reading of it?

I sent an email to Philips - will post back here.

You need to upgrade the bootloader in the device. Please email me using the address in my signature below for a copy.

Andy,

Can't this be made public? Philips published the _sources_ of the bootloader (as a part of one of the appnotes), so I doubt they would object...

I've just got permission so I'll add them to the web page as soon as I can. However apparently they are available on the Philips web site now. Not sure where though.
