Title: Program LPC1114/301 with real COM-Port
Post by: cakeofempire on July 08, 2014, 11:11:57 AM
Hello,

i am pretty new to uC programming and have a little question:
Is it possible to flash my LPC1114/301 with a "real" COM-Port of my computer without using an adapter e.g. with a FT252R chip?
I don't want to buy one, because I only have to use it once for a firmwareupdate.

greetings,
cake

Yes. Real COM ports are preferred because USB to RS232 cables have been known to introduce problems.
