What is the maximum reset delay Flash Magic will work with?
I'm designing a few circuit boards with LPC-2388. I would like to add support for Flash Magic, with RS-232 DSR enabling reset . My design has a MAX811 reset generator driving processor reset.
I see an earlier post "Adding delay before sending '?'" where a MAX811 delay of 285ms was discussed. In that discussion, Flash Magic v4.62 was shown to work. But no mention of the maximum reset delay (after DSR is done) that it will tolerate.
My MAX811 spec specifies 560ms max reset pulse width. Knowing the actual max reset delay Flash Magic can tolerate would be helpful.
For comparison, the Keil board I have shows an RC reset w/ 100nF and 47Kohm = 4.7ms time constant.
Thanks, Laser Plumb Bob
