Strange!
Maybe you need to get an updated Doc from NXP.

The Bootlodercode supplyied by NXP does contain a
Function 09 -Read User

And if I open a Terminal and type in:
:0500000900000fff00e4
I will get a perfect Memory Dump.
Tested with a brand new 89LPC921.

So at least the current 921 do support memory read.

Regards
Ralf

Hi Ralf_Brandt,

Can you upload the latest bootloader code from NXP?

See the change show as below(attached picture)

You need to compile one of these asm source code(select a correct version code according to AN10337) to an executable image, then download this image to your MCU with an ICP or PP tool.

In the latest release notes of Flashmagic, mentioned as below,

Version 5.32
------------

- Added support for NXP ISP to Parallel Programming bridges
=============================================

Any information about " ISP to Parallel Programming " available?

Thanks!

Does Flashmagic support accessing to internal eeprom of LPC935? I found the EEPROM menu is disabled by Flashmagic when an LPC935 device has been selected.

P89V51Rx2/P89LV51Rx2 / P89V52X2 ICP
August 21, 2009, 12:23:16 AM
Recently, I implement ICP on P89V52X2 with Flashmagic tool, I found there is a command like this :000000FF01 from Flashmagic, what is this command mean? It seems that the hex record type is "FF"?

BTW, I use the Portmon to monitor the COM port.

When I do the "Blank Check" operating on a blank device, FlashMagic always returns "Not blank".

After doing the "Erase all flash" operating on a device, then I do the  "Blank Check"  operating on it, FlashMagic always returns "Not blank".

I try to register FDI's forum, but it prompts "This forum is not accepting new registrations."

I found there is a bug in LPC900 ICP operating with FlashMagic when Blank Check.

I think FlashMagic should be added a command option such as "Enter ICP" for NXP ICP Bridge!

Thanks in advance!
