Checksum

A quick simple question.When using FLash Magic for ISP (lpc952) and checking the generate checksum box where can you view the checksum for the hex file after programming the chip? and why is the verify option disabled do you need an access code for this function.

If the device you are using allows the memory to be read, then you can display the contents of memory using the ISP -> Display Flash Memory... menu entry. Otherwise there is no way of viewing the checksums.

The LPC952 doesn't support reading memory, therefore you cannot view the checksums and you cannot verify your code. Instead for verification use the CRC feature.

I'm not sure if you are perhaps getting confused, but the generate checksums feature in section 4 of the main window is seperate from the device CRCs that  you can use for verify. Please refer to the section in the manual that describes the generate checksums feature.
