MBED flashing with Flash Magic

Hello,
I was trying to flash an MBED board (LPC1768) with Flash Magic.However FM does not read the device signature.I dont doubt the hardware since it  works fine with some other boards plugged in.
Just a quick question,does MBED have a proprietory bootloader rather the original NXP loader?If so is it possible to replace the bootloader and use FM ?

I don't know if MBED uses their own bootloader. How are you getting it started? If the method to start the bootloader matches the method described in the Flash chapter of the LPC1768 user manual from NXP then it is the factory bootloader you are using that FM can work with.
