I have shown two methods to circumvent the problems when the vector or status byte get lost (put it in a parallel programmer) http://www.8052.com/users/erikm/
show NoTouch which allow activating FlashMagic without clipleads or switches and another version for program development (you may never get to the serial port) that require only one cliplead/switch.
