Reset Device Box

Hi, I have installed Flash Magic in several PC's without problems. But the last time I have instaled it in a PC, when I try to program a P89V51RD2, after I press "Start" the box "Reset Device" doesn't appear.

Do you have DTR and RTS enabled in the advanced options? If Flash Magic thinks it is controlling the ISP entry then it won't bother asking you to reset the device.
Also double-check you have selected the correct device.

Thank you. I have never changed any advanced options. I always have installed the program and tryed to program a P89V51RD2 or P89LV51RD2. The other day after I installed the program in several PC's I find one that worked properly.
Is there any incompatibility with OS or program?.

The default setting for DTR/RTS changed in the last few months because most users now use that option (in general).

Thank you. You are right. The problem was the setting of DTR/RST.
