Flash programming of LPC2378

ifailed to program LPC2378 using USB-ICP-LPC2K and magic flash. i have done the following connections. flash magic always shows the step1 autobaud failed.


         USB-ICP-LPC2K                   LPC2378

pin     1                                         3.3V

         2                                         Reset (pin 24)

         3                                         P2.10 (pin 76)

         4                                         GND

         5                                         RXD0 (pin 142)

         6                                         TXD0 (pin 141)


i have done the following flash magic settings

COM port-COM7
Baud rate-9600
Device-LPC2378
interface-FDI USB-ICP-LPC2K
oscilliator-11.0592

flash magic always shows the step1 autobaud failed.
why does this error come?


kindly help to program the flash of LPC2378.

You need to put a scope on the RxD and TxD pins on the microcontroller and see if any data is being sent or received. Let us know.
