Unable to connect at specific baudrate, reduce & reset in ISP mode

Hi,
Kindly help to address this issue, I have been working around this for last couple of days to trouble shoot this issue, still yet to find out the root cause for the same.  some time back I was using this tool and was working fine, but know not able to establish the communication at all, some the activities i have carried out to trouble shoot are given below,
I have was suspecting comport in the begining & its working fine with the hyper terminal.

Then I  tried with controller replacing didn't work.

Tried installing with older & new version of flashmagic ( V 2.4 to latest version available on net) no improvements found.

Changed MAX232 IC didn't work.

New development board also didn't

Final with USB to Serial cable even with this I am not able to work now.

Pls., let the what could be going wrong & how to over come this I am not able to trouble shoot on this.

Kindly let me know if this type of issue has been address earlier.

I am facing the same problem. I don't know how to solve it. I changed no. of max232 ics. It works only with my older max232 ic.
Either Max 232 ics in the market are faulty or there is some problem with Flash Magic.

Prasi - FM is sending a 'U' to your device and FM is then either getting nothing back or junk. The device should echo back the 'U'. Please put a scope on various points of the send and receive transmission paths between the COM port and the device's TxD and RxD pins and let us know what you find.
