Hi, just started using FM, great tool and many thanks!

When I try to start the terminal I get the following error:
"Access violation at address 0415DEE7 in module 'flashmagicarm.dll'. Read of address 00000004."

I'm using FM 5.93.2484 on Windows 7 x64 SP1, and the target is an LPC2148 via FTDI FT232RL.

In the past some users that have reported problems like this found that they were solved by installing an "ATL security update" from Microsoft. Please give it a try and let us know.

Thanks for the quick response.  I downloaded and installed both the x64 and x86 versions of the patch (as FM is 32-bit), however it didn't make any difference.  The PC is fully updated otherwise.  I'll try it on another PC and get back to you.

OK I've now tried this on Windows 7 x64, Windows 7 x86, and on two different Windows XP x86 machines, all of them give the same error regardless of whether the ATL update is installed or not, and the only thing that is different is the faulting address (understandably).  That's four different machines .... is it only me, or have others seen this as well?  Am I doing something silly?

Please try version 5.94 and let us know if that works better.

Working perfectly with version 5.94 now across all PCs!  Well done and many thanks once again.  ;D
