RESET circuit for NXP P89C61X2 microcontroller
« on: February 19, 2012, 09:52:20 PM »
Hi,
I am using Flashmagic to program P89C61X2BN microcontroller through ISP. There is no RESET circuit available on board.
Can anyone please provide me a RESET circuit to RESET the controller in ISP mode before using Flashmagic ?

Regards
R.S.

Typically reset circuits are a capacitor and resistor or an external watchdog device. Then you just need a jumper or switch on the ISP entry pin per the device user manual.

Please see the attached circuit. The pin 11,12 and 13 of LS245 is connected to STCP, SHCP and DS pin respectively of 74HC595.
