Skip ISP check at power on?

Hi!

The datasheet says that there will be a 400ms (depending on the oscillator) delay at power on where the ISP-code waits for a possible connection.
Well, 400ms is hell too long for my application. Is there a way to skip that auto-baud-thing and start the user programm right away?
That delay seems to be no problem for the other forum-members, or they found a way to avoid it ;-)
I searched the datasheet and other documents from NXP but to no avail.

Thanks for your help!

Hence replacing the bootloader with Ver 7  you can use a port pin to select bootloader instead of  UART 'U' command.

==> Be aware you can get in to problems replacing bootloaders etc.

Hi Joe!

Thank you for telling me about that bootloader. I will give it a try.
Oh, by the way: the link is broken but I found the bootloader anyway.

Thanks again and have a good time!
